We wish you love in all forms warm, engaging, and overflowing, today and everyday. This year we share with you a love poem by the prolific Nikki Giovanni, that focuses on one of the most common manifestations – friendship.

Love one another.

A Poem of Friendship

We are not lovers
because of the love
we make
but the love
we have

We are not friends
because of the laughs
we spend
but the tears
we save

I don't want to be near you
for the thoughts we share
but the words we never have
to speak

I will never miss you
because of what we do
but what we are
together

Nikki Giovanni

Once you see someone as human, you can never unsee their humanity
Love
We’re not talking about the fabled stuff of milquetoast cherubs strumming golden harps. We’re talking about a proactive love with the power to enrich and transform lives.
