Our Human Family (OHF) was first expressed in 2019 as a publication on Medium. In 2020, OHF was registered as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization,  moved its online presence in April of 2021, and launched its flagship publication, OHF Weekly, where we publish articles from a wide range of contributing authors.

In the past, our paid-subscription model allowed curious readers to browse our newsletters and view only the first few paragraphs of our articles. Full access to articles was reserved for those with a paid subscription.

We found that model didn’t work as well as we hoped as our readers wanted to share our newsletters as well as our articles, but keeping our articles behind the paywall limited any options for expanding our readership.

So we listened to you, our readers and subscribers. Now, all of our web articles are open for everyone to read and share with others! Subscribe to receive OHF Weekly and our articles via email for free.

Yes, subscriptions are free.

But I must be direct with you: It costs money to keep OHF Weekly going, not to mention the many other projects we have in the works, such as our in-person seminars in which subject experts share how to cultivate racial equity, allyship, and inclusion throughout our society.

On behalf of the OHF Board of Directors, I invite you to partner with us. Your financial donation will help fund our efforts and increase our reach. If you believe in our vision and enjoy our publication, imagine how much more we can accomplish with a solid base of financial support.

Please give to OHF and set up either a recurring or a one-time donation. No donation is too small. Also consider, many employers offer matching funds for contributions made to registered charities. When you partner with your employer, you can increase the direct support that your donation gives us.

And if you can’t financially help us right now, that’s okay. You can still give us a hand by sharing our articles with your friends and family on social media. And we invite you to share your comments about our articles in the comments section below each article or send us ideas for topics you’d like to see us explore.

Finally, we remain grateful for all of you who have helped us along the way thus far, and with your continued help, we will do even greater things.

Love one another.
