Thank you for your generous support of our Giving Tuesday + OHF Weekly fundraiser. Because of your participation in the global generosity movement, we were able to raise $1,522 in seven days! What’s more, that’s $1,322 over our initial goal of $200. No, that’s not a typo.
At first, I set the goal fundraising goal for $200, because . . . well, you know, I hate asking for help . . . and wasn’t sure how the public would respond. But within minutes of posting the fundraiser along with my $20 donation, Morris—a friend I wasn’t aware knew anything about Our Human Family—donated enough to meet that initial goal and encouraged me to set a new goal. Which I did.
And you guys crushed it!
Whether you’re a longtime supporter of Our Human Family or this is your first time supporting us with a tax-deductible donation, you’ve inspired everyone from the board of directors, editorial team, writers, and poets, to our creative support to press on with even more conviction.
